Title: Dear___, Entry 2
Rating: 'G'
Warnings: Same as before. :3
Dear ___,
I still need to up with a name for you- don’t I?
Dreth says I’m silly, making up a name for you- I think he’s just practicing for when he becomes head of the house. He’s always trying to boss us all around, I guess when you’re the eldest you can do that. When we got back from the market he started yelling at me for doing the men’s work—I really don’t see how carrying chickens is men’s work- Madam Staren always says that running the kitchen is the women’s job.
Why do we need separate jobs anyways? It makes no sense.
Market wasn’t the same this year, the gypsies didn’t perform—and when I went to see the horses, I wasn’t allowed! Every year the stable boys let me sneak in to be the horses- why not this year!? I got turned away before I could see them and ended up staying at the booth with Madam; if it hadn’t been for Mila- one of the kitchen maids- I would have been bored to tears.
Hardly the day I thought it was going to be, hopefully tomorrow is better.
